Original hand-painted wallpaper design sample. Gouache on paper. Picked on a recent trip overseas to France. We stumbled upon a vast collection of vintage hand-painted textile and wallpaper designs dating from the 1930s to the 1960s. Designs ranging from floral to geometric to linear repeat patterns. Each piece is executed with a technical expertise.

The design firm is unknown. The piece itself measures 9.25" W X 11.75" H (overall on the paper mount the piece is 10.75" W x 14" H). Colors are soft and rich with meticulous detail!
