Original pochoir on print from the book "Les Joies du Sport," a limited edition book published by Maurice and Jacques Goddet and illustrated by Milivoj Uzelac for the 1932 Olympic games in Los Angeles. The book featured 45 pochoir illustrations."Les Joies du Sport" is one of Uzelac's best known and most sought after works as it depicts sports that are very rarely illustrated.
About the artist:
Milivoj Uzelac (1897-1977) was a Croatian artist, influential in the Zagreb modern art scene of the 1920s and 1930s. Uzalac spent much of his professional life in France as a painter and illustrator.
