First edition Paul Iribe illustrated pochoir from the 1932 publication Blue Blanc Rouge by Parisian wine merchant Nicolas. Only 520 copies were produced. Bleu Blanc Rouge offers a rather amusing argument against foreign alcohols, taking on Russian vodka, German beer, British whiskey, and American Blue Rock mineral water each in beautiful folding pochoir illustrations, before presenting French wine in a mounted color plate.

Paul Iribe was best known for his wide-ranging influence in fashion and his Art Deco costume, furniture, and fabric designs.

The print measures 20" W x 12.5" H. Folio fold down the center as published. Very fine condition! Light handling wear. Left edge is slightly roughed as it was pulled from from the book. Rubbed mark in the center right top of the piece. The marks in the first image are finger prints from the scanner not in the piece itself.
