This is an original hand-numbered and signed (hors de commerce) serigraph by American artist Jan Dorion Whitney. The paper is a very nice thick stock and the silk-screening has great luster and texture. Numbered in the lower left corner (H.C. 7/15) and signed in the lower right, both in graphite. Jan Dorion Whitney is a fine art painter raised in New Mexico. Her paintings reflect a life-time of travel, from her summers spent in California and New Mexico, to winters in Florida, the Bahamas, and the Mediterranean. Whitneys' signature textured style and fresh approach to nature is what we love about her art!
