About the piece:
This original watercolor painting depicts a voyeuristic view of Port Royal, an area of France just southeast of Paris. The soft, indistinct shapes of the tree branches create a type of frame around the image while the boat in the foreground cruises by in what seemingly feels like a laissez-faire pace.
This piece is one from a series of paintings in our “Tour of Paris” collection, which takes the viewer on an artistic stroll through the city of love.
